Whether it's collecting toys for needy children or helping to feed those in need, we're here for our communities. We exist to serve. That's why you'll find our associates constantly giving back. It's a commitment of time as well as money, and we do our best to make a positive impact.

Fact is, we understand our role in the world. We're here to comfort. Teach. Care. We're here to help people. That's why it's so important we take our commitment beyond the walls of our organization, and share it with the community itself. It means actually getting out there and rolling up our sleeves to make a difference. And that's exactly what we do.

How we're giving back:

• Last year our system-wide charity campaign raised roughly $90.7 million.
• In 2002 our Associate Giving Campaign raised $480,713 from almost 4,000 participating associates.
• Additionally, Advocate associates raised $222,000 for the local United Way in 2002.
• Our charitable foundation facilitated 12 volunteer-led fund raising events that attracted 3,850 participants and raised more than $1.4 million.
